This is a series of collages created for Cardboard Folly, a limited edition art ‘book’ conceived by Emily Speed and containing work by 18 artists. While we were free to reproduce a single work to populate the edition, I elected to create 45 variations on the idea of a ‘net’, the flat pattern used to create three-dimensional geometric shapes. Of course in this case, each net doesn’t resolve to a three dimensional object, but an illusion of a cube.
